Hitherto, the finest Samsung Android based mobile phone one could purchase was the i7500 Galaxy, which is a fully loaded handset in itself. From Samsung, which has produced may high-end devices like the Omnia HD and i8510, producing a handset that could vie with the likes of Motorola Droid and Nexus One was sort of expected.
At the CTIA Wireless Expo 2010, the company has revealed what is said to be the most equipped, fully load Android gadget until now. Hail the Samsung’s latest and most powerful Android based gadget i9000 Galaxy S. Here’s a rundown of what the feature packed i9000 has in store for you…
To start with, the hi-tech i9000 features a 4-inches super AMOLED 800 x 480 pixel screen. This feature makes this phone Samsung’s biggest touchscreen phone till date. Even the Omnia HD has only 3.7 inch wide screen. Another remarkable feature of the screen is mobile Digital Natural Imagine engine, a technology that improves image quality on screen. Samsung has earlier used this technology in its LCD and LED TVs.
The device runs on Android 2.1 and is powered by ‘1 Ghz’ processor. i9000 will support HD video playback and a feature known as the ’social hub’, which will enable a single point access to various social networking sites. It will also feature the Swype virtual QWERTY and Thinkfree, a software which is used to open and edit MS office 2007 documents.
Besides, the phone comes with a 5 mega pixel camera and supports aGPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and WI-Fi B/G/N too. It also has an accelerometer. For now, the company has neither committed any time for the release of this product nor it has mentioned about its price.
