December 25th marks the joyous occasion of Christmas that brings with it joy, cheer and happiness for most people, but there is one section of the society for whom Christmas is yet another day without food and shelter. Most members of the society don’t even bother to glance at these unfortunate masses but Tej Kohli could not look away. Three years ago, he founded the Tej Kohli foundation in San Jose, Costa Rica, having drawn strength from his globally diversified businesses, resources and experience.
This Christmas Tej Kohli foundation has aligned the PARROGUIA JESUS DE NAZARET church and started Sunday meal program for the poor and under privileged children.
On this noble occasion, the founder, Tej Kohli said that Tej Kohli Foundation is helping out 700-800 kids every weekend and that the Foundation is in the process of tying up with 4 more missionaries to extend the same services to 4000 kids.
Instead of sitting back and enjoying Christmas, Tej Kohli decided to spend time with the underprivileged section of the community by visiting the church and distributing gifts among poor children.
The Tej Kohli Foundation continues to serve children and families in the poorest communities of Costa Rica by facilitating lasting change through strengthening capacity for self-help; providing economic opportunity; delivering relief in emergencies; influencing policy decisions at all levels; addressing discrimination in all its forms.
